Kathryn Vennard is a partner at Brooke Jackson Downs. She joined the firm in October 2007.

Born and raised in Salmon Arm, Kathryn returned home to practice law with Brooke Jackson Downs. After graduating with her law degree from the University of Alberta in 1992, she articled and worked for 13 years in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

Kathryn has a general solicitor’s practice that includes wills and estates planning, probating estates, residential and commercial real estate, and business law including incorporations, share and asset sales, and commercial loans. She also does Adult Guardianship applications (Committeeships). Kathryn is a member of both the B.C. and Alberta Law Societies and assists clients with cross-provincial border matters.

Just like her parents, Kathryn is a busy and active member of the community. She serves as a Board member of the Shuswap Hospital Foundation, a Rotary member and is part of several professional groups. Kathryn also enjoys speaking to groups regarding topics of law.
