Gary Brooke was born and raised in Salmon Arm where he received all of his primary and secondary education. He attended Simon Fraser University and graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He later attended law school and was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1978.
Gary worked at a wide variety of jobs in the Salmon Arm area during his university years and was, at various times, a logger, millworker, tree planter and teacher. Gary articled and practiced with Heather & Company in Prince George and returned to Salmon Arm in April of 1980. Gary was a founding partner of the firm in that year.
Gary practices as a solicitor with an emphasis on real estate and estate matters. Gary has had extensive experience in real estate conveyancing and mortgage work and in real estate development including conventional and strata property subdivisions. In recent years Gary has developed a significant estate practice which includes a wide variety of matters from drafting wills to and including complex probate applications. Gary's background and experience suit him well in dealing with the needs of clients in a progressive and growing community.
Gary recently received a prestigous award from the Canadian Bar Association recognizing his contributions to our community.
